نیایش روز زمین پاک(ٍEarth day prayer )

O GOD
we thank you for this earth, our home; for the wide sky and the blessed sun, for the ocean and streams, for the towering hills and the whispering wind, for the trees and green grass.

پروردگارا ما براي زمين،خانه امان ،براي اين آسمان پهناور و خورشيد مقدس براي اقيانوس و جويبارها ،براي تپه هاي بلند و بادهاي نجواگر،براي درختان و علفزارهاي سبز از تو متشكريم.

We thank you for our senses by which we hear the songs of birds, and see the splendor of fields of golden wheat, and taste autumn's fruit, and rejoice in the feel of snow, and smell the breath of spring flowers.

برای حس هایي  که به ما عطا كردي كه با آنها آواز پرندگان رامی شنویم وشکوه گندمزاران طلائي را مي بينيم و طعم ميوه هاي پائيزي را مي چشيم و شادي كه از وجود برف حس مي كنيم و نفس گلهاي بهاري را مي بوئيم،از تو متشكريم.

 GRANT US a heart opened wide to all this beauty; and save us from being so blind that we pass unseeing when even the common thorn bush is with your glory

به ما قلبي بزرگ عنايت فرما كه به روي تمام اين زيبائيها گشوده باشد،و ما را حفظ كن تا آنقدر نابينا نباشيم كه قادر به ديدن آنها نباشيم  حتي زمانيكه يك بوته خار معمولي در نور توشعله ور مي گردد.
